Nobody likes visiting the dentist. Nonetheless, when the need comes, it pays to choose a clinic
with the most modern equipment and a pleasant interior, where the doctors’ priorities are the
comfort of the client and the painlessness of the procedure. Questions about the functioning of the
ERPET MEDICAL CENTER in Prague are answered by MUDr. Jan Procházka, the Chief Physician and
also the executive head of the Erpet Medical Ltd.
How long has the ERPET MEDICAL CENTER in Prague been operating and what can it offer to its clients?
We opened the completely reconstructed clinic in February 2006. We provide comprehensive dental care, from children’s dentistry to care intended for patients without their own teeth, for example the elderly. Among our main services are preventive dentistry, of which dental hygiene is a component, aesthetic stomatology (white fillings, inlay, onlay, ceramic crowns, facings, teeth whitening)
which has lately been much in demand, implantology, parodontology, orthodontics, digital RTG, microscopic endodontics, stomatological surgery, and procedures carried out in analgosedation and under full anaesthesia for phobic patients. And last but not least we also provide emergency treatment.
What would you list as the main qualities that stand the Centre apart?
At our clinic we try to give our patients a maximum degreeof service, be it in the quality of provided care, short booking time limits or the possibility of obtaining some medical procedures through the standard system of insurance companies. We use only the newest instruments and technologies, for example digital RTG, microscope, piezosurgery, HealOzone. I also see a great advantage in the fact that we provide all dental care in one building, so the patient does not have to go to other specialized facilities. We try to be a team – in practice this means that each doctor specializes in one field of dentistry and undergoes all the available training for this field. Then we can say that the care is really of top quality. Furthermore, it is fantastic that everyone can be substituted when
needed. Emergency treatment is also among our qualities – we offer urgent treatment 365 days a year.
If our readers were interested in becoming your patients, how should they proceed – what formalities are required to join?
Basically you only need to go through the initial checkup. You can make an appointment by e-mail or by phone. RTG images, as well as a treatment plant, are all part of the initial examination. After the examination the physician will also usually send the patient for treatment to a dental hygienist.
