YPF (Young Professionals Forum) - Jakub Kovacik, Co-founder, Viera Events s.r.o.: What character traits and attitude does a successful entrepreneur need to have?
Ing. Karel: I believe a successful entrepreneur has to be first of all a “leader”, and a real “leader” is a person who is not only capable to have economic results, but also relate to others on a social and very human level. Notice the English word “leader” which best describes a person able to inspire others, lead them, and so have visible and positive impact on his or her surroundings. As a special trait, needed by Czech as well as Slovak entrepreneurs, I would add a solid portion of patriotism which you can very often notice in behavior of Germans, British, French etc. but rarely when it concerns us Czechs and our Slovak - today only half - brothers.
