Students on the American program that choose to major in International Economic Relations have the option of sitting for the Czech State Exams on completion of their program. American Bachelor in Communication and Mass Media
The aim of the Bachelors Degree study program in Communications and Mass Media is to assist students to become highly skilled, versatile, independent thinkers with the research experience, information literacy, communication and interpersonal skills necessary for an advanced professional career, or further academic study at the Master's or PhD level. The program facilitates creative interdisciplinary links between the disciplines studied to develop broadly educated individuals who are able to apply their knowledge, skills and attitudes creatively and flexibly in a broad cultural and social context. This degree is awarded by Empire State College, State University of New York. Students have the option of sitting for State Examinations upon the completion of their degree program, and by successfully passing the exams are awarded both the American degree from Empire State College (B.A.), and also a bachelor's degree from UNYP (Bc.). The program will prepare students for entry level professional positions in the field of IT Management in the Business and Public sectors which operate in a global environment. This degree is awarded by the Empire State College, State University of New York.
Literature is one of the primary creative acts of humankind, and the study of literature not only exercises our skills of interpretation and critical thinking, but also gives us access to the history and ideas that have shaped our world.
Study with UNYP’s talented, international instructors in Prague, a country whose literary history spans languages, genres, and centuries, and whose literary heritage includes such notables as Karel Čapek, Franz Kafka, Milan Kundera, and Bohumil Hrabal.
This 3 year study program leads to the award of a Czech bachelor's degree (bakalář) awarded by UNYP and accredited by the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. It gives the holder the right to use the abbreviation Bc after their name. All classes are taught in English.
This program is offered as both a full time daily course, or as a weekend program. This makes it ideal for students who wish to study towards their degree, but at the same time wish to consider the possibility of working while they study. The flexibility allows students to switch to the weekend mode if they need to.
The course is aimed at high school graduates wishing to pursue a bachelor's degree in an international environment.
The weekend European Bachelor in Business Administration degree is exactly the same as that of the daily program. The only difference is that the weekend mode is aimed at working professionals and allows students to continue in their careers while pursuing a bachelor's degree. Classes meet for two weekends each month (Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday), and the program culminates in a final project. All classes are taught in the English language.

With the increasingly global and highly competitive travel and tourism market, comes a need for highly qualified professional managers. This lifelong education course includes basic concepts of business and financial management as well as specific applications to the field of tourism. Participants are given the means to comprehend and use basic and advanced tools to successfully understand the tourism industries and to run a tourism business.

The M.A. program in Clinical-Counseling Psychology now offered at the University of New York in Prague in cooperation with La Salle University (Philadelphia, U.S.A., www.lasalle.edu), is an intensive program of studies with a concentration in Psychological Counseling. The program stresses skill training and clinical preparation and is designed to thoroughly equip students with the necessary knowledge to
be effective professionals in the realm of mental health care.
Course Overview
About the European Public Law Organization (EPLO)
The EPLO, established in 2007 with headquarters in Athens, Greece, is an international organization dedicated to the creation and dissemination of knowledge in the area of public law lato sensu, including but not limited to inter alia national, comparative and European public law, human rights and environmental law and the promotion of European values through public law throughout the world in a dialogue of civilizations. It is a multifaceted organization as it aims at the same time at research, education, training and institution building. International organizations and states, but also institutions of higher education, as well as other institutions are represented on its Board of Directors. These include almost 200 academics and legal practitioners, leading figures in their field, appointed from 74 Universities worldwide. The government sector, including the Council of Europe, the European Commission, the French Council of State, Constitutional and High Courts, comprise the Scientific Council of the EPLO.
The Masters in International and Commercial Law is offered in conjunction with the University of Greenwich (UK). The LLM has been designed to meet the needs of a wide range of graduates in law, including practitioners, academics, government officials and advisors to non-governmental organisations involved in or intending careers in public international, corporate or commercial law. Graduates will be equipped with the skills necessary for a variety of careers in the legal profession. On completion, graduates will be able to:
◦ Understand the substantive legal principles in public international and corporate law
◦ Understand the substantive legal principles in a chosen area of study offered within the program
◦ Present findings and conclusions by means of an independent piece of academic research

The PhD by Publication is a Doctorate degree, much like a conventional PhD, but which recognises research work carried out by entrepreneurial companies and academic organisations that lead to novel and publishable results. The PhD is offered by Bolton University in cooperation with the University of New York in Prague.
Usually this requires a minimum of three-years. The key point is that during this time, there should be three publications, in literature approved by Bolton University. These publications should be in relation to the student's thesis and area of expertise, and should develop knowledge of the subject. The award of this PhD is based purely on these three published works, and as such rewards on-going activities, rather than additional work.
It is different from any other PhD variation, including PhD by Published Works because it is based on works to be published. Publications include papers in high impact factor journals or full international patents. This makes it incredibly versatile, as it opens the door to all aspects of enterprise, from business and science, through to the arts.
Students on the program will have to submit a thesis in English, and provide an oral defense of the new knowledge (philosophy) generated.
Class sizes at UNYP are kept small, which allows students’ far greater personal attention and greater access to their professors. We also adopt the American style of teaching, which is interactive, and encourages individual participation. This creates a personalized approach to students and creates an ideal environment for effective teaching and information exchange.
UNYP is fully accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education accredits UNYP as an institution providing higher education. In addition UNYP is a member of CAMBAS, the Czech Association of MBA Schools.
