Association for International Affairs (AMO)

The Association for International Affairs is a non-governmental organization founded to promote research and education in the field of international relations. Thanks to its activities and more than ten-year tradition, the association has established itself as the preeminent independent foreign policy think-tank in the Czech Republic. The Association facilitates expression and realization of ideas, thoughts and projects in order to increase education, mutual understanding and tolerance among the people. The association represents a unique forum in which academics, business people, policy makers, diplomats, the media and NGOs can interact in an impartial environment. The organization focuses its activity on three pillars: research, education, open society.

Ano pro Evropu

Civic Association ANO PRO EVROPU was established at the end of 2002 to promote a positive opinion of citizens in the referendum on entry into the European Union.

The association was founded by Svatopluk Karasek, Monika Pajerova, Slavomil Hubálek, Alan Pajer, Martin Bojar, Tomas Halík, Marta Kubišová, Jiri Pehe, Petr Pithart, Karel Schwarzenberg, Jiřina Šiklová and Edvard Outrata.

Support for their project called more than a hundred figures, led by Vaclav Havel. YES for Europe is financed from both public and private sources.

Cebre

CEBRE - Czech Business Representation to the EU was founded in spring of 2002 by three most important cross sectoral Czech entrepreneurial and employers organizations:

- Confederation of Employers' and Entrepreneurs' Associations of the Czech Republic

- Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic

- Czech Chamber of Commerce

Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic together with its trade promotion agency CzechTrade provided support to this joint effort.

CEBRE operates as a part of the commercial and economic section of the Embassy of the Czech Republic to the Kingdom of Belgium.
