The exclusive Golf Park Plzeň once again hosted the first tournament of the season from the series “Czech 100 Best Grand Golf Prix” entitled Dýšina Cup. On June 15th “Czech 100 Best” has endured a successful continuation of its golf tournament tradition.
Comenius Society has had the pleasure to arrange already the fourth tournament of the “Czech 100 Best Grand Golf Prix”, a tournament inspired by “Czech 100 Best”, a competition Comenius organizes since 1996. The tournament offered a more relaxed and yet at the same time competitive combat to the representatives of companies acknowledged by the “Czech 100 Best” scale. Not to mention that Comenius was also again successful in arranging excellent weather conditions, so the participants joined us for a day full of great golf experiences. The tournament was divided into three categories – categories HCP 37 to 54 and HCP 18,1 to 36 have played according to Stableford scoring and the category HCP 0 to 18 played for strokes subtracted half of handicap. The winners of individual categories (see the results) received prizes from Vlastimila Reicheltová, Golf Gate the exclusive importer of JuCad golf carts, Věra Lišková, the Head of Finance BMW/Invelt and the representative of the Automobile partner, Karel Muzikář, who stepped in for Andrey Nyupenko from Euro-Russian Bank, who had to travel out before the end of the tournament. The Euro-Russian Bank was the Grand Partner of the event.
Keys from the Mini Cooper, which was the main prize of the Hole in One competition, have remained in the hands of Invelt company, the partner of the adjoined competition, but we all hope that the car will change its owner during the second tournament of the season. The winners of Nearest to the Pin competition, received their prizes from Šárka Parobek, the co-owner of Ifield Computer Consultancy. Both winners of the Longest Drive were awarded with gift baskets from the hands of Radek Dohnal, General Director of TOP hotel Praha and the Vice-Chairman of the Board of TOP Hotels Group. Many prizes from Under Armour brand were distributed to players in the competition Super Nearest to the Pin, where all competed with the first Czech participant to the Ladies European Tour – Zuzana Mašínová. The prize for the chipping competition “hit the front open window of BMW X6 you can win BMW Z4 for a weekend”, was awarded to Petr Ditrich with 3 shots of 5. The end of the award ceremony was concluded by a rich raffle. The Euro-Russian Bank was the Grand partner of the event and BMW/Invelt was for the first time introduced as the Automobile partner.
Comenius is looking forward to the second tournament in Albatross Golf Resort in September.
